You can also read the content right within this page (directly below) I’d like to share my personal experience with anxiety, panic attacks, and agoraphobia. As you read, you’ll pick up on some suggestions you can use right away to begin recovery. You might be thinking.. “You don’t know me Matthew. How do you know I can recover? What are your qualifications?” You’re right, I don’t know you personally. However, not long ago, I was in your exact shoes. I suffered from crippling anxiety and very scary and long panic attacks. These unrelenting and debilitating panic attacks and anxiety led to agoraphobia. What I experienced can be similar to many other sufferers. Moreover, our experiences don’t have to be the same in order for the information to be of benefit to you. Simply put: I thought I was losing my mind. I attended the emergency rooms multiple times thinking I was having a heart attack or going crazy. It can be very scary, especially if you don’t get the help you need. I couldn’t work. I couldn’t leave the house. I was constantly afraid of having another attack. Even between panic attacks, I experienced very bad, generalized anxiety. I was scared to sleep because I felt anxious. I also had anxiety enter into my dreams and would wake up with it. That’s when the real problems started. It’s like I was plagued with it. I couldn’t escape. You’ve probably had the experience of a bad dream like this. On one level you know you’re dreaming and are waiting to wake up, and then you do. Well this is how I felt but the dream didn’t end. Also when I was awake, many times I felt as though I was not in reality but rather in some sort of altered reality. Very scary. I’m not telling you this to scare you. I want you to know what I went through and got over. Today I live 100% panic free. All day everyday! The good news is, these problems can become manageable -even overcome. You, too, can get through this. You just have to have the right information and right mindset. Your journey may be different than mine. It may even be more difficult. But, I believe you can be helped. You can not only manage your anxiety and panic, but you can live the free life you’ve always wanted. In fact, more and more research demonstrates that people can get through anxiety and panic attacks by applying certain techniques. See…once I was able to get past the panic, I could experience enjoyment for the first time in my life. I could finally just be happy. Looking back, I believe my journey through anxiety, panic attacks, and agoraphobia was the best thing that ever happened to me. I say that because it helped me learn to enjoy my life — became more assertive, more confident, and learned to live a truly happy life. This may feel like too much to take in if you’re going through severe panic right now. But that’s okay. I can appreciate that you might just be concerned about getting over the panic. You probably think recovery seems impossible for you. Please don’t think that way. If you are convinced that you can never get better, then that only adds to your anxiety. However, if you can maintain a belief (even way in the back of your mind) that you can get better and are open to really giving the suggestions presented in this newsletter a try, I am convinced you CAN get better. My journey through anxiety and panic attacks allowed me to do an abundance of research on anxiety, panic attacks, agoraphobia, depression, stress management, and overall wellness. I earned a wealth of information and techniques to beat these panic attacks and live a healthy life full of freedom. I was also able to meet a wonderful psychologist who helped me learn even more techniques to get rid of my panic problems. Once I was over my panic, I began helping others who were suffering from anxiety, panic attacks, and agoraphobia. And over the years of receiving positive feedback, I decided to keep going in this direction. What really helped me relate to others is that I truly experienced the same things these people were experiencing. People felt my sincerity because I actually endured and conquered the same problems. I naturally decided to share everything I learned along my journey with other people who suffered from panic, anxiety and stress. I’m not saying everyone is the same, but I do believe there are many common threads which we can learn to understand and then continue to build on fundamentals that will be helpful to you. Again, if you can maintain a belief (even in the back of your mind) that you can get better…and you’re willing to try things I’m suggesting, I’m almost 100% certain you can get better – no matter how BAD you think it i right now. I’m going to level with you though. Getting over severe anxiety, panic attacks, and agoraphobia involved more than medication and stress relief. I had to make some major changes in order to improve over time. Are you seriously willing to make these changes… if I can promise you’ll get results? I’m asking because I doubt you’re reading this email just to waste time. I know you want real help. I did massive research on panic attacks, anxiety, and mental health, I’ve consulted with various professionals, studied other people who’ve experienced panic attacks and got over them… I’ve read plenty of material on the subject but I also have a well-informed opinion on what really works (and what doesn’t). The fact is, I treated my experience with anxiety as a life change (for the better) and getting over anxiety, panic attacks, and agoraphobia was inevitable. What’s more, all the bad habits I acquired over the years dropped off and I felt as though I was in a much better position to live the life I’d always wanted. It was not an overnight process, but it was certainly worth the effort. And I invite you to begin the journey to end your panic attacks, anxiety and agoraphobia. The journey begins here. Right now. I’m willing to share effective techniques in this newsletter, but you have to realize YOUR power in this process. In other words, I’m talking about a combination of techniques and suggestions tailor made for you, by you. The reason for this is simple: We each really steer our own life in the direction we want it to go. You hold the reins. It’s through life’s events that we evolve on our life journey. We are the agents of change. No one else is. We’re all individuals and once we recognize that individuality and discover what feels right for us, we can transform ANY and EVERY challenge in our life — whether it’s a panic attack, anxiety attack or any other obstacle that’s keeping you from living the life you truly deserve! I look forward to helping you embrace this new freedom. A RECAP OF THE KEY LESSONS FROM TODAY’S INSTALLMENT: 1. BELIEVE The first critical fundamental of recovery starts with your belief that something IS possible. The something I’m referring to is RECOVERY. Without this belief any chance of recovery is blocked. 2. REMEMBER EXPERIENCES Use enlightening experiences to help keep you going: Remember, no matter how bad my experience was — somehow it turned around. Remembering these success stories can be very helpful in tough times. 3. BE PROACTIVE. Other people (like me) can offer you help, but ultimately, you are the agent of change. Being proactive is critical in your transition from being a helpless victim to a recoverer. 4. COMMIT Make a commitment in your mind and write it down so you can constantly be reminded to consistently apply these simple lessons. You need to constantly remind yourself and that’s why writing it down is SO important. In the next lesson, I will build on the information shared here and explain the process of a panic attack and explain how you can use information about this process to your advantage.
